• Deadline:

    Test duration: 2 hours

The test will show you exactly what your typical working day looks like and what kind of tasks you would work on.

When to take the test: You can do the test when you wish and email us the solution. Our recommendation is that you do it in one, 1.5 hour-long period. That's how we do it in our daily production. That way you can see if that kind of work dynamic fits you.

Time tracking: please track it yourself

    Payment:
If you pass the test, you would be paid for taking the test.
If you do not pass the test, you would NOT be paid for taking the test.
Taking the test is free of charge and anyone can do it.

  • This test task is in use since 23rd February 2022

Our test assignments are only for testing purposes. We give you real client work, that we completed months ago for a client. Your test work will not be shown or sold to any of our clients or any other third party. We do not own copyright over your test work. You own all legal copyright over your test work and you can do whatever you want with it.

TASK #1 (Estimated time: 1 hour)

    Please compare the brief:
    ANDY-LAW-FF_ORIG-BRIEF.txt

    With the Art Directors solution:
    ANDY-LAW-FF_Homepage_V1.jpeg

    Please answer these two questions:

    1. Did the Art Director follow the brief carefully? If the Art Director did not follow the brief, please specify to the Art Director what is wrong.

    2. Does the design pass visual quality standards? If the design does not pass visual quality standards, please specify to the Art Director what is wrong.

How to specify to Art Director what is wrong? You can use a way that is most convenient to you:
    - You can write it down in a text file
    - You can make a video
    - You can use some annotation software
    - Something else

Use what is the fastest, most practical way.

    Notes:
    - "The brief" in our slang means a list of the client requirements
    - "Art Director" in our slang means Senior Website and UI Designer

TASK #2 (Estimated time: 1 hour)

    Please compare the brief:
    KWOK-6_ORIG-BRIEF.txt

    With two Art Director solutions:
    KWOK-6_Home_V1.jpeg
    KWOK-6_Homepage_V2.png

In this case, similar to TASK #1, you need to answer the two same questions. But now you have two design solutions. You should decide if any of those solutions are good to be sent to the client? If not, you need to make a plan. For example, pick one solution only for changes or combine sections from two design solutions, creating a new design. Please answer these two questions:

    1. Did the Art Director follow exactly the brief? If the Art Director did not follow the brief, please specify to the Art Director what is wrong.
    2. Does the design pass visual quality standards? If a design does not pass visual quality standards, please specify to the Art Director what is wrong.

How to specify to the Art Director what is wrong? You can use a way that is most convenient to you:
    - You can write it down in a text file
    - You can make a video
    - You can use some annotation software
    - Something else

Use what's the fastest, most practical way.
